Exclusive NFT whitelist raffle services for the best NFTs in the market

Overview

Pogue is a platform that offers a unique way for creators and businesses to engage with their communities and distribute NFTs. Users could participate in raffles for limited edition NFTs or gain early access through whitelists.

Understanding the Problem

My Client wanted an NFT website specializing in raffle and whitelist services addressing unequal distribution, exclusivity concerns, community engagement, scalping, trust, monetization challenges, feedback collection, competition stress, user experience complexity, and marketing effectiveness.

To expand on this:

1. Unequal distribution: Public sales often favor those with faster internet connections or automated bots, leaving many genuine enthusiasts unable to purchase desired NFTs

2. Lack of Exclusivity: NFTs released to the general public might lose their sense of exclusivity and value due to mass availability.

3. Difficulty in Engaging Communities: Creators struggle to keep their communities engaged beyond the initial NFT release.

4. Lack of Trust and Transparency: Some platforms may lack transparency in the selection process or authenticity of NFTs.

5. Complex User Experience: Some platforms may have confusing or convoluted processes for participating in sales. Will expand more on the competitive analysis

The Solution

So the solution would then be to offer fair chances, exclusivity, ongoing engagement, and secure processes. The platform should also create a more positive and rewarding experience for both creators and participants in the NFT ecosystem.

So matching problems with their solutions we have what the website would offer;

1. Unequal NFT Distribution - Raffles ensure fairness and equal chances for all participants to acquire NFTs, reducing disparities caused by technical advantages.

2. Lack of Exclusivity - Limited edition NFTs through raffles or whitelists maintain exclusivity and enhance the perceived value of the NFTs.

3. Difficulty in Engaging Communities - Raffles and whitelists foster ongoing engagement, strengthening connections and loyalty within creator communities.

4. Lack of Trust and Transparency - Utilizing blockchain technology ensures transparency in raffle and whitelist processes, establishing trust among users.

5. Complex User Experience: A user-friendly interface simplifies participation in raffles and whitelists, making the process accessible to a wider audience

The Design Process

I applied my own personalized 5 phases of Design thinking for the project

Understand => Research => Ideate => Design => Test

Understanding the Pain point

I needed to get clear on the mental model of our target market and understand what they were having trouble accomplishing from both an informational side and a functional side. I also wanted to understand more deeply the customer journey and the transformation that they were looking to achieve in terms of solution. Based on the user needs gathered from research, I answered some How might we’s and brainstormed on ways to make the experience seamless. conducted comparative analysis and created user flows too

The Research Phase

After I was done with the user research and analysed my findings, I created a User persona. I also came up with “How might we” statements in order to explore ideas that would help me design an effective solution for the user’s problems. This step of the process helped me focus on the core user needs and problems

  • "How might we enhance user engagement and excitement on our whitelist raffle platform, encouraging a sense of anticipation and community involvement among participants?"
  • "How might we effectively communicate the value proposition of our whitelist raffle platform to potential participants, fostering a clear understanding of the unique benefits and opportunities associated with exclusive NFT events?"
  • "How might we simplify the whitelist application process, making it user-friendly and efficient, to attract a diverse range of users while maintaining the exclusivity of our curated NFT raffles?"

Ideating

While Ideating, I created a user flow to better understand the step-by-step processes a user would need to take to complete an action. This user flow helped me identify areas for improvement and allowed me to optimize the user experience

Designing Problems into Solutions

After identifying core functionalities of the web app. I created variations for the brain identity for the team to make a choice as we didn’t have a brand identity designer as at that time. I created style guides which included the colors, typography, etc used for the design. it’s a little extensive but on a basic level.

Final Screens

I proceeded with the visual design phase for the project. Here, I will showcase a selection of screens, providing an explanation for each.

Let's start with the Home Page. This section features a hero illustration, along with a concise mission statement, designed to warmly welcome the user and communicate the product's purpose. The homepage features a captivating display of the latest NFTs up for grabs drawing visitors into a seamless and visually dynamic experience. Users can scroll through upcoming raffles, explore featured artists, and discover the thrill of exclusive digital ownership. It has an intuitive navigation, transparent information, and a touch of community spirit.

After the user previews the home page the next thing is to sign in into the web app to unveil more features.

The login and profile page provides a secure entry point for users. Once logged in, users access a personalized profile hub to manage their raffle entries and whitelist participation and display a history of past entries and wins.

The intuitive dashboard offers quick insights, while the edit profile feature allows easy customization. Seamlessly designed, thelogin and profile page ensures a smooth and secure experience tailored to individual preferences.

Marketplace Screens

Here I designed a platform where users can discover, participate in raffles, and join whitelists for upcoming NFT releases

Raffle listings: It categorizes raffles based on themes, artists, or types of NFTs. It Includes detailed information about each raffle, including start and end times, entry requirements, and prizes.

Whitelist listings: It provides a dedicated section for whitelists, showcasing upcoming NFT drops. It Includes information on how users can join whitelists and any associated benefits.

Ranking Pages

Creating ranking pages for the raffle and whitelist platforms, I showcased top-performing raffles, artists, and participants. Its considered to be a dynamic leaderboard that updates regularly. It provides filters based on categories, such as raffles, artists, or participants.

About Us Page

it Includes key elements such as the mission statement, platform overview, founding story, team introductions, core values, and principles.

White Mode

I also created a white themed background for every screen to enable accessibility bearing in mind different kinds of users that could use the product

Prototyping & Testing

This phase brought the design concept to life allowing my company's stakeholders to experience how users will interact with different features and screens. It facilitated feedback and iterative improvements, ensuring the dashboard's usability, user experience, and overall functionality were thoroughly tested and refined.
